A timeline of our accreditations
Here’s our timeline showing our story, from becoming an active member of UKITA in 2010, to the many accreditations we have achieved in the decade and more since.
2023 and onwards
We’ve been very busy in 2023. We thought it was time to claim our Google Partner status (something which was long overdue), but why stop there, we continued with becoming qualified by Google themselves for a range of services we provide.
Clutch leadership status
We renewed our Clutch leadership status, not an easy feat, as “Clutch Leadership” can only be maintained by continuing to achieve positive customer reviews, which unlike many platforms are highly vetted by Clutch and worth their weight in gold.
But that’s not the end, we continued to become certified by HubSpot, SEMRush and Coursera.
2018 to 2022
During 2018 to 2022, we decided to focus less on accreditations and more on real customer reviews across.
Google had updated its algorithm in a significant way, to pay close attention to factors such as Expertise, Authority and Trust. We know how important reviews are for our customers anyway, so this is where we decided to place our attention.
In 2018, we got started on Trustpilot where we have continually maintained a high 4.5+ / 5 rating.
5-Star Reviews
We also invested heavily into building our Clutch profile, as well as building reviews on Google and Facebook, all of which where we have maintained 5-star reviews and a reputation for exceptional solutions and services.
2011 to 2018
2008 to 2011 were years of significant growth for Opace. Our SEO and social media services were taking off and our priority was to focus on customer delivery.
We did however make some time for accreditations and to continue our growth by becoming more recognised.
In 2018, our strategy was to build our customer reviews and we got started on building our Clutch portfolio.
Becoming recognised on The Drum and RAR (Recommended Agencies Register) were a big focus for us in 2015. We became active members of The Drum and a RAR-recommended agency. Sadly, we decided not to continue these memberships but they were a great stepping stone for Opace.
In 2013, TrustMark+ took over the AccreditUK e-Media and e-Commerce scheme and we renewed our certification with TrustMark.
2008 to 2011
During the years of 2008 to 2011, we were very busy trying to get established. We worked hard to become accredited and active members within professional communities.
As such, we joined UKITA (the UK IT Association), the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and become accredited as a Quality Approved member of UKITA.
We joined Business Link’s Select Supply program and also helped to found (and become accredited by) Accredit UK’s new e-Media and e-Commerce qualification,
