Expert Moves, a reputable removals company in the UK, came to us with a request for a complete digital transformation project. They needed a unique WordPress website, content creation, SEO, PPC management, and the development of a custom removal calculator to streamline their booking process. Here’s how we partnered with Expert Moves to help them grow.
Our work
Phase 1: Website Development & Branding
We began by creating a fully responsive and professional WordPress website tailored to the needs of Expert Moves. Working with their team, we developed a design that aligned with their branding, opting for a sleek and trustworthy colour scheme that represented their business values. The site’s top-level menu included key pages like Home, Services, Locations Covered, Reviews, and Contact Us.
One of the standout features of the site is the instant removal quote form. This custom-developed module allows users to input their removal details, such as pick-up and drop-off locations, and receive an accurate quote in real-time. We integrated Stripe to handle online payments directly from the website, giving customers the ability to book and pay instantly. Additionally, we developed a real-time booking calendar to manage van and team availability, reducing the chances of overbooking.
We handled all content creation for the website, producing over 30 SEO-optimised pages, each targeting specific keywords to enhance organic traffic. This was paired with a solid technical foundation for fast loading times and an overall seamless user experience.
Phase 2: Custom Module Development
To make the booking process even smoother, we developed a removal calculator module. Customers can enter specific details about their move, such as distance and inventory, to receive an instant quote. The system supports both day-rate and itemised inventory options, and it was built to send customers a confirmation email with a reference number and the option to book immediately. This feature was tightly integrated with the booking calendar and payment system to ensure everything worked seamlessly from the user’s perspective.
