Summary: Improved website design using WooCommerce. A 15% growth in Google visibility, with 30+ new page 1 ranking and a significant increase in organic traffic thanks to our SEO work. And we haven’t even finished yet!
CASE STUDY: Physical Gold
When Physical Gold, the UKs most trusted gold bullion dealer, discovered their website wasn’t performing as well as they had expected on Google, they approached Opace to carry out a series of detailed website and search engine optimisation (SEO) audits.
To begin with we performed a detailed competitor analysis, evaluating each competitor against more than 70 factors which are important for SEO impact. This activity enables us to highlight significant differences which might indicate opportunities to support SEO. The next step was to review the Physical Gold website to identify content related issues and fix any previous link-building work.
We have now completed this project, as well as restructuring and updating the entire website based on a new custom design, our analysis and keyword research. We have removed penalties, re-written the core content and updated the metadata across the website. WordPress and WooCommerce have also been fine tuned to provide considerable improvements to website speed.
The Results:
During our relatively short time working on the SEO, the website has already benefitted from more than 60 new keywords entering the search results and 30+ new page 1 rankings, including the number 1 position for “gold investment brokers”. The new website design is now live we’re undergoing a long-term content marketing campaign with Physical Gold. The website has already seen a considerable increase in organic traffic on Google Analytics, breaking records which have never previously been seen.
Deep knowledge of SEO and organic traffic. Very approachable and responsive to requests. Their content strategy has really begun to build in increases in organic traffic which is what we were after.
