CASE STUDY: Beeches Martial Arts
Project Description:
In 2017, we developed a new WordPress website for Beeches Martial Arts following the huge success of the first website and our seo activities. The new mobile-friendly website included full content management capabilities via WordPress and is now the top ranking website for the competitive ‘Martial Arts Birmingham’ search on Google. Teaching a mixture of self-defence and martial arts, Beeches Martial Arts cater for everyone interested in self-defence, regardless of experience or skill level. In 2011, Opace built a very basic HTML brochure website for the family run club and was asked to bring the website up-to-date in 2017.
The work we carried out back in 2011 helped Beeches Martial Arts attract new students and grow to include 8 new clubs in and around South Birmingham. In 2017, we built a new website which was fully responsive, mobile friendly, content manageable and up-to-date in terms of seo best practice. With a website they could update and maintain themselves, Beeches were in full control of their online marketing. In addition to the website development, we also carried out Google Local/Maps optimisation to ensure the Club would appear in the top local positions for related searches. We have continued to help Beeches with their seo activities and have achieved some really significant results.
The Result
The website now ranks at number 1 in Google for the ‘Martial Arts Birmingham’ keyword and ranks in the top 3 positions for ‘Jujitsu Birmingham’and ‘Judo Birmingham’.
