CASE STUDY: Wire Rope Direct
Family owned business Rope Services Direct needed to look again at their seo activity after falling search rankings and dissatisfaction with their previous seo supplier. Opace were asked to take over and 18 months later we’re still delivering outstanding results. We worked with Rope Services Direct to support their digital marketing activity after the previous seo agency failed to achieve the required impact. Following an extensive audit of the website and digital marketing, we carried out a number of key activities designed to improve the website and maximise its seo potential.
Our approach included:
- A significant website re-structuring exercise informed by thorough keyword research
- Development of a new navigation structure and website content
- Updating the metadata and keyword usage across the website
- Optimisation of WordPress to improve the website’s speed and performance
- Regular blogging and content marketing
Over the past 18 months, our ongoing work has been carefully planned to include website copywriting, blog writing, infographic design, content marketing and online PR.
The Result
Over 18 months, the website has delivered improved rankings for more than 100 keywords and has shown a 15% increase in overall visibility across search engines. 40+ keywords are now ranking strongly on page 1 with the others showing continual monthly improvements.
Having worked with a previous seo supplier, I wasn’t getting the type of results I wanted. I contacted Opace and after a couple of meetings and a proposal, we agreed to a monthly seo package. We agreed a list of priority keywords and created a baseline of rankings. Each month, Opace undertake seo actions as well as provide plenty of content for our site. Importantly rankings are monitored monthly and in our monthly report we can therefore easily see progress month to month. Ranking improvements have been consistent with progression every month. This is reflecting in an ever-increasing number of visitors to our website – which is exactly what we want!
