A seamless migration from Joomla to WordPress with a modern custom design, showcasing the extraordinary work of a renowned sculptor and artist, Nehemia Azaz. Improved functionality and responsive design has improved the user experience and provided a more flexible platform for publishing work.
In 2022, Opace was approached by the team behind Nehemia Azaz to redevelop their website. The original Joomla site was outdated and no longer an effective showcase for the artist’s extensive portfolio.
Our work included:
- Migration to WordPress with essential plugins (Rank Math, iThemes Security, WP Rocket, Smush Pro)
- Creation of a clean, modern layout reflecting the artist’s aesthetic while improving mobile usability
- Custom portfolio layout where every artwork and commission has its own dedicated page (sculptures, jewellery, architectural designs)
- Introduction of a more intuitive “Browse Gallery” feature with clearer navigation
- Extensive responsive testing and high-spec UK-based hosting
The Results:
Nehemia Azaz’s work is now showcased in a more engaging and modern format, supporting both user exploration and future updates. The new WordPress site provides a flexible platform for adding new artworks and commissions as the portfolio grows.
