David holds a degree in Software Engineering from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, and began his career working with global consulting firms such as Capgemini and CSC (Computer Sciences Corporation). David built his career providing business and IT consulting services to blue-chip clients across various sectors including Financial Services, Manufacturing, FMCG, and Retail.

During his time at Capgemini, David took on significant consulting roles on multi-million pound IT projects for government clients, including NHS, HMRC, the National Policing Improvement Agency, Local Police, the Office for Criminal Justice Reform, and the Home Office (Criminal Justice IT). These large-scale initiatives allowed David to gain invaluable experience, where he managed teams and delivered technology strategies aimed at improving efficiency and public service delivery.

In 2009, David launched Opace Ltd., a Birmingham-based digital agency that focuses on open source web development, eCommerce solutions, and digital marketing. Since then, he's led Opace in helping clients — from local businesses to national brands — achieve tangible benefits through strategic digital marketing solutions. By specialising in open source, Opace has been able to offer clients cost-effective and flexible solutions that adapt to changing business needs, without being tied into proprietary solutions and unnecessary contracts.

Today, David is at the forefront of emerging technologies, including cryptocurrency, blockchain, and artificial intelligence, exploring how these innovations can redefine traditional business models and create new opportunities for efficiency and growth.
