CASE STUDY

In August 2019, CamNtech, a provider of monitoring solutions for Energy Expenditure, Sleep, and ECG/HRV, approached Opace to modernise their website. The existing Joomla site was outdated and not user-friendly, so we recommended the transition to WordPress to enhance site functionality and integrate an online store using WooCommerce.

Opace began by installing and configuring WordPress, followed by setting up the Divi Page Builder theme and customising the layout to match CamNtech’s branding. The team migrated all content and data from Joomla to WordPress, ensuring a smooth transition of pages, text, and images.

The process included setting up a Research Library system, a testimonials system, and an online store using WooCommerce. The online store was configured to handle shipping methods and payment gateways, and a quote system was integrated to allow customers to request quotes for products.

Additionally, a ‘Customer Area’ was set up using a specified extension to enhance user interaction and service delivery. Comprehensive responsive design testing ensured the site functioned correctly on all device types, and user flow testing was conducted to confirm seamless user experiences.

The Results:

Opace’s migration project provided CamNtech with a modern, easy-to-manage WordPress website and eCommerce store. The new site featured enhanced user experience, streamlined content management, and an integrated online store to support their business needs.
