CASE STUDY

In 2021, PowerPhotonic, a leading provider of high-power laser optics, engaged Opace to provide SEO advice and migrate their website from Drupal to WordPress. This project marked the beginning of a comprehensive digital transformation project to ensure their online presence was robust, secure, and scalable.

We started by moving their site to our custom-built dedicated Litespeed server. This provided PowerPhotonic with a secure and high-performance hosting environment tailored to their specific needs. With a focus on isolation and dedicated resources, we ensured optimal security and performance for their site.

Next, we tackled the content migration from Drupal to WordPress, coupled with a modern, responsive web design, and implementation of our SEO recommendations. Using the Divi theme tailored to Power Photonic’s branding, we ensured a seamless transition of all content between the two platforms. The entire build was executed to maintain consistency and usability, followed by extensive testing to ensure functionality across all devices.

In 2023, Power Photonic opted for an annual technical support contract and a complete design refresh of the website. By drawing inspiration from industry leaders, we developed multiple graphic design options and mock-ups, eventually finalising the process with a unique and functional set of designs. The rebuild involved creating flexible page layouts that could be easily modified by PowerPhotonic using Divi.

Our tailored approach resulted in a secure, high-performance website with improved user experience and content management capabilities. Our ongoing technical services and SEO support ensures the website remains up-to-date, functional, and fully optimised, providing PowerPhotonic with a reliable platform to support their business growth and a competitive edge.
