Since 2022, Buy Sheds Direct, one of the UK’s leading online retailers of garden buildings, partnered with Opace to improve its organic search performance and strengthen its digital presence. The goal was clear: dominate the search rankings for all things shed and garden building related.
Our work
We crafted a tailored strategy that focused on optimising the site’s technical performance, refreshing existing content, and creating new high-quality copy that aligned with top-ranking keywords. The initial phase of work included revamping meta tags, refining internal linking, and enhancing keyword targeting on category and product pages.
As we progressed, our work evolved into managing a variety of SEO tasks including:
- Keyword Research: Identifying and integrating strategic keywords to ensure Buy Sheds Direct ranked for highly competitive terms like “Garden Sheds.”
- Content Optimisation: Reworking over 14,000 words of existing content and adding nearly 78,000 words of new content, focusing on keywords with high search volumes.
- Technical SEO Adjustments: Regular technical audits to address site speed, mobile-friendliness, and ensure the site met SEO best practices.
