Starting in December 2017, We Buy Broken Vans collaborated with Opace to revamp their website, SEO, and digital marketing. The project commenced with a detailed SEO-led keyword analysis and sitemap planning project, followed by logo and brand creation, custom website design and development using WordPress and the Divi Page Builder theme. Essential features included a vehicle registration lookup, keyword-driven user navigation, and Yoast SEO configuration.

In early 2018, we focused on extensive content creation, providing copywriting and optimising roughly 60 pages with targeted keywords. Social media efforts included Facebook design, setup, and ongoing management. Opace also managed PPC campaigns, crafting and implementing Facebook and Google ads to increase website traffic and leads.

After the success of the initial website build, we were asked to develop and host a new site for buying/selling broken cars, again emphasising lead conversion. We developed a more sophisticated car registration lookup and custom form solution to help streamline the user experience and enhance data collection. The new-and-improved car lookup feature was also implemented on the We Buy Broken Vans website, ensuring consistency across both sites.

The Results

This full-service design and marketing package resulted in a significant digital transformation for We Buy Broken Vans. The revamped website, coupled with enhanced SEO and active social media management, significantly improved online visibility and new enquiries. Sadly, our involvement with We Buy Broken Vans ended in 2020 when the websites were brought in-house under the control of a new marketing manager but the business is still very much alive and thriving.
