A modern platform for specialist fasteners.
In 2018, Becto, an established eCommerce retailer specialising in stapling and nailing products, approached Opace to upgrade their website from Magento 1 to Magento 2. The project began with the initial setup of Magento 2 with a compatible and refreshed theme, styled to meet Becto’s brand requirements.
Our work
The migration involved transferring all content from the existing site to the new Magento 2 platform, including manual population of pages, copy and images. Essential features such as a one-page checkout extension and a matrix rates extension for postcode-based shipping charges were set up to enhance functionality. Trustpilot integration and tracking data requirements for Google Analytics were also implemented.
