Astro tools · Visual editing and content checks

Edit Astro sites and check content evidence

Edit rendered text, metadata and declared sections through the Dev Toolbar, or add report-only content checks to an Astro build. Both tools keep review steps and method limits visible.

Choose a reviewed edit or a report-only check.

Use the Visual Editor when you need rendered changes reviewed and written back to declared source files. Add the Content Integrity integration when a build needs bounded evidence for visible text, protected content and unsupported methods. Both routes use the Astro Dev Toolbar, but they keep content editing and content inspection as separate decisions.

Opace tools

Astro tools should respect the boundary between source and output.

The Visual Editor validates a proposed change before writing to source. Content Integrity inspects rendered output and reports its method state without blocking the build. Each page records supported Astro versions, rendering modes and the limits of its release.
